At Learn and ACE Preschool, we firmly believe that children are extraordinary individuals endowed with dignity, intelligence, imagination, and untapped potential. Our mission is to nurture and cultivate their innate abilities for learning, critical thinking, and meaningful contributions, all while emphasizing physical development and enhancing their social skills simultaneously.
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Our school is situated in a cozy environment, featuring a spacious playground that facilitates the development of our children’s gross motor skills. Our play area is meticulously designed to foster healthy competition while motivating children to engage in sports. Additionally, our library offers diverse books and materials, igniting a passion for reading and expanding one’s knowledge.

The teachers at ACE are all trained in an American Pedagogy “STUDY TECH”, a technique for studying that helps them identify barriers that prevent students from learning.

Divya Sivashankar
Montessori Teacher
Divya Sivashankar began her career in 2019 as a Montessori teacher and is a trained Montessori adult with over three and a half years of hands on experience. She is deeply passionate about working with children and has cared for and taught children ranging from 6 months to 6.5 years of age.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science, which she completed in 2018. In addition to her Montessori work, she has served in the pediatric section of the Cancer Institute in Adyar, where she had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children. This experience further enriched her understanding of child development.
In 2023, she also worked as a Spoken English teacher at an educational institute, further expanding her teaching skills and experience.
Bhawani Sundaram
Principal
Bhawani Sundaram is a highly experienced English teacher with an impressive teaching career spanning over 21 years. She has a unique skill set that encompasses not only the instruction of adults but also a special talent for nurturing and educating children. In 2006, Bhawani embarked on her educational journey by establishing her own preschool in Sri Lanka, employing American teaching methodologies to provide an enriching learning experience for young minds. She possesses TESL certification from the United States and obtained her CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge in 2021, demonstrating her commitment to staying at the forefront of language education. Throughout her career, Bhawani has successfully guided students from diverse backgrounds, hailing from regions such as Eastern Europe, Malaysia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and India. Furthermore, she takes particular joy in caring for and assisting children in their English language development. As they say, Bhawani Sundaram is not just an English teacher; she is a devoted mentor and caregiver who has left a lasting impact on her students’ lives.
Arunya M
Montessori Teacher
M. Arunya is an enthusiastic educator with a background in Engineering and a strong passion for teaching. She has one and a half years of experience working with children, supporting their academic and emotional growth. She has taught English, Science, and Social Science up to Grade 6 under the CBSE syllabus.
She also has experience conducting Cambridge classes, which has further strengthened her teaching methods and approach. As an early childhood educator, she finds joy in creating engaging, nurturing, and joyful learning environments. Teaching brings her deep satisfaction, and she is committed to supporting each child’s unique learning journey with care and dedication.
Supraja P
Kindergarten
P. Supraja, is a dedicated education professional with a rich history in the field. Over the past six years, she has played an integral role at ACE English School, serving as a Trained Educator, a title earned through training from Applied Scholastics. Her academic background includes a postgraduate degree in Hospital Food Service Management.
